It works best with fitted diapers and a muslin square folded in the airplane fold because it accommodates bulkier absorbent layers. Thanks to its elastic edging and simple cut, it also works very well with standard absorbent inserts.
2. What makes its construction special?
It is an almost single-layer diaper cover without extra elastics or bulky elements. It is soft, flat and very flexible, and the single front flap can help hold the insert in place, although using it is optional.
3. How do you adjust it for a baby weighing 6–12 kg?
The front snaps adjust both the rise and the waist. This allows the cover to grow with your baby while remaining comfortably fitted without pinching.
4. Which absorbent layers fit best inside?
You can use medium or large inserts, fitted diapers and muslin squares folded in different ways. Depending on the absorbency required, you can use one or two inserts.
5. How does the cover perform in everyday use?
PUL is soft, waterproof and flexible. The cover does not need washing after every use – usually replacing the insert is enough. It also dries very quickly, which makes regular use easier.
6. What should you avoid when fitting it?
Do not fasten the snaps too tightly, as this may leave marks. Make sure the absorbent layer does not extend beyond the elastic edging to prevent moisture from wicking onto clothing.
7. How should you wash and care for the cover?
Wash the cover at up to 60°C. To preserve the PUL, avoid very high spin speeds and do not dry it directly on a radiator or another heat source.
