GUIDE - HOW TO USE BAKING SODA
Baking soda is an eco-friend of every household. In this short tutorial we collected experiences of past and present housewives to facilitate cleaning in a way natural and safe for the health of all your family members, especially the youngest ones. Try these unusual properties of soda in a form of powder, liquid and paste.
Advantages: safe for humans, universal, does not affect the color and the environment and besides it is really cheap (bought in kilograms). It will replace a sizeable box with various chemicals and in return you will not have to watch children rummaging your bathroom cabinets. Baking soda has no impact on the environment
Cons: Requires a minimum of knowledge and sometimes some preparation before use.
Soda paste: add some water to your soda (to obtain the desired consistency) and a few drops of your favorite fragrance oil. You'll be able to successfully clean entire kitchen using only a paste of baking soda - dried stove, cabinets, countertop, microwave and refrigerator. Stubborn stains: cover with paste and remove after 1-2 hours.
A solution of water : soda 3 : 1 great for cleaning silver. Soak silver jewelry in the solution for fifteen minutes and then rinse it in water.
Soda powder will successfully remove greasy stains. To remove the stain, put some soda over it and wait for the powder to absorb the oil. Unpleasant smells can be removed by coviring the problematic places with soda and removing it after a few hours. Sports bags, shoes, clothes, carpets etc can be cleaned this way - you can either shake soda off or vacuum it. If you have a problem with smelly cat litter box, try mixing litter with soda, it should diminish the odour.
