Cloth pads
Since we are in the 21st century, why is it worth thinking about going back to sanitary pads or reusable pads at all? There are many reasons! From comfort, through ecology to large savings.
I have already talked to hundreds of men and women about personal hygiene. For some, the topic of reusable sanitary pads, whether for menstruation or urinary incontinence, is still controversial. After all, it is easiest to buy sanitary pads at a supermarket and throw away the after use. However, is it always the best solution?
For me, the greatest advantage of reusable sanitary pads is the comfort of use. The difference between feeling plastic and material is enormous. Wearing reusable sanitary pads is like wearing thicker underwear. They are really comfortable! The financial aspect is equally important - you can easily calculate how much per month you spend on disposable sanitary pads and how quickly the cost of reusable sanitary pads will be reimbursed. In case of urinary incontinence, when sanitary pads have to be used all the time, the savings are even greater. The use of reusable sanitary pads is also a great tribute to the environment: in Poland alone, there are about 10 million menstruating women, each of whom uses an average of 15 sanitary pads, which gives 150 million of pads finishing up in landfills every month! And this is just a calculation for menstruation: after all, many men and women use pads throughout every month.
