How do you reduce the amount of waste you produce on a daily basis?

All change begins with small steps taken by each of us. The same applies to reducing the amount of waste we produce. We can look at (or complain about) the regulations in individual countries on this issue. However, regardless of what the authorities decide, reducing waste production by each household, by each of us, would certainly have a visible effect. Let's ask ourselves: how can we reduce the amount of waste on a daily basis, and let's look for appropriate solutions.
To reduce the amount of waste, let's buy less.
The less we buy, the less we throw away. Of course, there are essential products, those that are necessary. But let's be honest with ourselves: how many bad purchases have ended up in the trash?
Let's buy second-hand items
Items that are given a second (or third, or subsequent) life not only save us money, but also don't end up in the trash – a double benefit.
Let's use reusable items
Today, we are inundated with disposable items: disposable cloths, sponges, washcloths, diapers, etc. Why? Reusable items work great. They don't end up in the trash and reduce the amount of waste.
And you: how do you reduce the amount of waste on a daily basis?
