The colors and shades of motherhood

Motherhood can be viewed in many ways: as work, a calling, a blessing, a burden, a challenge, happiness, fulfillment... Every mother's path is different. And on this path, the path of motherhood, there is a whole spectrum of colors. What colors might these be?
 

White
When you wrap your newborn in a white blanket. You look into their eyes and see trust. Your little one has a difficult journey ahead of them, and you will accompany them on it. Ahead of you lies the blank canvas of life. A white canvas on which pictures are yet to be painted.

Green
Because green is the color of hope, and that hope accompanies the mother constantly. Hope that the illness will pass quickly. Hope that the baby will sleep a little longer. Hope when you blow on a sore elbow and promise that it won't hurt. Hope for another wonderful and happy day.

Purple
When your heart is filled with grief and sadness: when mom sees her child's pain and hears her crying. Your blood stops flowing for a moment – you would so much like to turn back time, to protect her from pain and sadness.

Red
When anger comes. The child's anger, his hysteria, screaming and stomping. You see him turning red, you see him getting angry. And you understand that this is also necessary: for the child to express his needs, expectations and grievances. And you look at that redness on their clenched fists and stubborn little face with different emotions. And you want it to go away. But what kind of picture is that – without red?

Gold
When she comes running with cards and flowers she has picked herself, she gives you gifts she has made with her own hands. You feel as if someone is giving you real treasures. And then you hug your greatest treasure so tightly.

Black
Sometimes clouds obscure the sun and you are overcome with despair: because you lost your patience, because you forbade something, because you didn't have the strength to smile, because you shouted, because you wanted to be left alone.

Brilliance
When your child laughs, when they hug you, when you see them coming up with a surprise for you. Your child is a bright ray of sunshine in your life.
