1. What is the XL diaper cover used for and when is it most effective?
The XL cover works as the outer, waterproof layer of a cloth nappy. It performs especially well with fitted diapers and thick inserts but also works with standard absorbency inserts. Its nearly single-layer design comfortably accommodates bulkier absorbent options.
2. How does the XL cover differ from other covers?
This model is exceptionally flat and flexible — it has only one front flap and no extra elastics besides the leg area. This minimal construction keeps the cover soft, lightweight, and comfortable even with very absorbent inserts.
3. How do I choose the right size for my child?
The XL cover fits children weighing approx. 10–20 kg. The front snaps allow you to adjust the size so the cover fits snugly but remains comfortable.
4. Which inserts work best with this cover?
You can use large inserts, fitted diapers, prefolds, or hourglass-shaped inserts. The cut of the cover allows it to hold even bulky absorbent layers without restricting movement.

Double leg elastics provide extra protection against leaks while maintaining a gentle fit around the thighs. Because the cover lacks additional bulk, the leg openings stay soft and comfortable.

You don’t need to wash the cover after every use — simply replace the insert and air it out. When washing is needed, it can be washed up to 60°C and dries very quickly.

Avoid overtightening the snaps, which may reduce the seal, and ensure inserts do not exceed the recommended dimensions to prevent protruding material and leaks.

Snap or Hook-and-Loop Fastener for Diaper Covers? Differences in Fastening Methods
It’s often said that reusable diapers grow with the child. What does that mean?
A reusable diaper has two types of adjustments:

Width adjustment – using snaps or hook-and-loop fasteners, which is used to properly fit the diaper around the waist. We adjust it every time we put the diaper on the child.

Length adjustment – we adjust it according to the child’s weight/height. For smaller babies, we fasten all the snaps for length, and as the child grows, we unfasten the snaps, leaving 1 or 2 rows open. This way, we can lengthen and widen the diaper to fit the growing child.
