Reusable diapers are a zero-waste solution. Once purchased, reusable diapers will serve us throughout the entire diapering period (or even longer – in the case of siblings). It is an economical and ecological solution. What benefits can we gain from using reusable diapers?

It’s often said that reusable diapers grow with the child. What does that mean?

A reusable diaper has two types of adjustments:

• Width adjustment – using snaps or hook-and-loop fasteners, which is used to properly fit the diaper around the waist. We adjust it every time we put the diaper on the child.

• Length adjustment – we adjust it according to the child’s weight/height. For smaller babies, we fasten all the snaps for length, and as the child grows, we unfasten the snaps, leaving 1 or 2 rows open. This way, we can lengthen and widen the diaper to fit the growing child.
